WaveOffice is pleased to welcome NBBJ, the international architecture firm designing Amazon’s second headquarters in National Landing, to 2001 Penn, WaveOffice’s newest location. As their first office in the greater Washington, D.C. area, NBBJ has leased this centrally-located 2,400-square-foot suite to focus its business on mixed-use, building repositioning, and corporate workplace projects, with hopes of eventually expanding from 10 to 50 employees.
NBBJ’s Managing Partner, Steve McConnell, suggests the Washington, D.C. office is “a tangible platform [they] intend to grow,” as the firm is interested in acquiring new clients, and strengthening relations with current clients, which include Terrell Place and The Advisory Board Company. WaveOffice’s open layout and spacious collaboration rooms are cited as additional main attractants, as NBBJ is hopeful of the support the flexible design of their WaveOffice suite will bring them in opening an office in today’s age.
