Today, Carr Properties unveiled a new brand including a logo refresh, new website, and other branded elements. This rebrand represents more than just an aesthetic change. It focuses on Carr’s companywide initiative of creating a brand in the commercial office business centered around reinventing the workplace experience and providing best-in-class service and hospitality to its customers. Having been a leader in commercial real estate for many years, Carr Properties is now looking beyond conventional approaches to their design and operations. This new direction will focus on immersive, integrated, and interactive workplace environments that will contribute to the new Carr Experience.
Oliver Carr III, CEO of Carr Properties, comments: “The rebrand exemplifies our commitment to innovate and refocus our entire business around creating the best possible workplace experience for our customers. We are being very intentional about aligning our business model with the way our customers want to work. Hospitality and flexibility will be two cornerstones of our business going forward.”
The focus of Carr Properties’ new brand is on the creation of an experience that promotes connection, balance, and wellbeing in the workplace. This announcement is a precursor to a larger rollout of the new Carr Experience: a carefully conceived concept that allows customers to optimize their time; create meaningful connections with others and integrate technology to enhance this experience. The Carr Experience will be launched at The Hub; Carr’s headquarters building located at 1615 L Street NW. The Hub, a 420,000 RSF Class A office building and the pilot location of the new Carr Experience, has been transformed after undergoing extensive renovations.
Concurrent with the launch of the new Carr brand, Carr is pleased to announce that it has hired Joseph Graham as its new Senior Director of Hospitality. Joe brings 19 years of experience within the field of hospitality. Fifteen of those years were spent with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts across the United States. His experience also includes a decade of work with luxury and lifestyle brands. Additionally, Carr has hired Carolyn Forte as its Community Manager at the Hub. Carolyn brings over 10 years of customer relations experience both within Commercial Real Estate as well as other industries.
